Constitution Day celebrated at Zilla Parishad Palghar

Constitution Day was celebrated at Zilla Parishad Palghar today on 26/11/2024. Chief Executive Officer Bhanudas Palve, Additional Chief Executive Officer Ravindra Shinde, Construction and Health Committee Chairman Sandesh Dhone, Chief Accounts and Finance Officer Dhanraj Pandey, District Program Officer Women and Child Development Praveen Bhavsar, Education Officer Secondary Sangita Bhagwat, District Animal Husbandry Officer Dr. Prakash Hasnalkar, Additional District Health Officer Dr. Shashikant Salunkhe read the preamble of the constitution near the constitution pillar in the Zilla Parishad. Education Officer Primary Sonali Matekar read the preamble. Indian_Constitution_Day is celebrated all over India on 26th November. On 29th August 1947, a drafting committee was formed under the leadership of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar to draft the Constitution of India. After many meetings and discussions, the final draft submitted by this committee was accepted by the Constituent Assembly on 26 November 1949. Since the Constitution of India was framed on 26 November, 2011, 26 November is celebrated as the Constitution Day of India. On this occasion, all the officers and employees of the Zilla Parishad read out the Preamble to the Constitution. Also, on this occasion, tributes were paid to the police officers and citizens who were martyred in the terrorist attack in Mumbai on 26/11/2008. All officers and employees of the Zilla Parishad were present on this occasion.
