Financial assistance for education of children of disabled parents
Scheme under 5% of Social Welfare Department of Zilla Parishad
Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to the children of disabled persons in the district for further education from 10th standard onwards. So that disabled persons do not deprive their children of education.
Beneficiary:
Children with one of the parents (mother and father) having a disability (40%).
Benefits:
Benefit amount Rs. 10,000/-
How To Apply
Application should be made to the District Social Welfare Officer, Z.P., Social Welfare Department through the Panchayat Samiti.
1. One of the parents (mother and father) must be disabled (40%).
2. Below poverty line or annual income limit Rs. 1,00,000/-
3. The child of disabled parents should be studying in class 10 or higher.
4. Resolution of selection by the Gram Sabha.
5. Final selection through the Social Welfare Committee.
6. Benefit amount Rs. 10,000/-
