Cleanliness campaign in Zilla Parishad premises through Shramdan by officers and employees
The district-level administration has decided to plant and nurture 500 trees on July 1, 2024 through the Agriculture Department. Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad Palghar Mr. Bhanudas Palve informed all the officers and employees regarding the planting of 500 trees and personally attended the Zilla Parishad premises and implemented a cleanliness campaign.
Maharashtra Agriculture Day is celebrated on July 1. This day is celebrated in memory of Vasantrao Naik, the father of the Green Revolution. This day is also known as Maharashtra Agriculture Day. On the occasion of Agriculture Day, pits were dug in the Zilla Parishad Palghar premises to plant 500 trees. For this, the Program Officer, Women and Child Development, Mr. Praveen Bhavsar, has made available 500 trees of various types from the Forest Department as a coordination.
Before planting the trees, Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Grap), Chandrashekhar Jagtap, Chief Accounts and Finance Officer, Mr. Dhanraj Pandey, and Deputy Engineer, Mr. Sanjay Kulkarni, along with all the officers and employees of Zilla Parishad, Palghar, conducted a cleanliness drive. A cleanliness drive was conducted to make the area suitable for planting trees.
Also, Chief Executive Officer, Bhanudas Palve, instructed all the officers and employees to plant and take care of the trees in front of the Zilla Parishad and participated in the cleanliness drive and cleaned the area. In this, the Class IV Employees’ Union is mainly participating and is trying to make the tree planting initiative a success from time to time under the guidance of the Chief Executive Officer.
